What is Craft cannabis? And is it Useful?

Craft cannabis is something that’s actually healthy not just for the environment for you as well. It’s made in smaller batches and when it utilizes organic farming, it can make your cannabis experience a lot better.

Craft cannabis is considered superior in terms of quality, and it’s something that’s made in smaller batches. The growing means for this is something that uses resources which are minimal, and that makes it very environmentally-sound for most people. The right cultivation that’s used for this usually involve hand-harvesting and it’s something that truly does distinguish the “ordinary” cannabis that’s cultivated in more large-scale levels.

The benefits

There are a few benefits to growing craft cannabis.

First and foremost, it’s grown in batches which are small, and growing this does offer a more “mom and pop” feel to it, compared to the very competitive mainstream markets.

Commercial cannabis facilities are usually making a ton of plants all at the same time, but the microbusiness of this craft cannabis is one that uses processing of these plants in the back, and the products are then sold upfront within the store. The microbusiness of this is something that’s more mom and pop, and it’s a lot cheaper to get into the business of this in this fashion as well.

Another benefit is that it’s very ecofriendly. The cannabis plants are made usually in other ways rather tan just mere dirt, which creates an organic and exclusive function, which does actually take out the pesticide chemicals, and offers the best ingredients for you to use. It’s something that’s also supercharged and made for “optimum growth” of the cannabis as well.

It’s also organic. This is something that a lot of people tout, since usually this is made without the pesticides as well. There are craft cannabis places out there which are committed to giving the best and more high-quality levels of cannabis, using both responsible growing and innovative,  new technology.

The pesticides are also forbidden, and it’s something that causes the sunlight to seep through a clear top and hybrid facility, which helps to lighten the carbon footprint of the indoor crops.

Finally, this is usually grown outdoors. This is something a lot of people actually really like.  That’s because it’s different from regular, indoor cannabis. Some great ones are grown in the mountains for example, and they’re fed with composted food that actually reduces the risk of them getting bad.  They also get normal air that’s drenched in sunshine and warm, and it creates an atmosphere to benefit to microbes, the insects that are predators and the fungi, rather than the chemicals that are there too.

The downsides

There are a couple of downsides to this kind of cannabis growing.

First, it’s expensive. Cannabis is a lot more expensive than the generic kinds of growing. This also can sometimes cost double what regular cannabis is. As consumers, you need to figure out the price tag, and whether it’s worth it. For some, the environment and the benefits that are there do justify the variable costs, but the cost can sometimes be prohibitive for the other people that are there

It’s also not regulated. This is something that also applies not just to beer but to cannabis farms as well. It’s something to be mindful of when shopping for cannabis.

But craft cannabis is something that’s good if you want something natural and something that feels a little bit more organic. There’s tone of great benefits which come from this, and a lot that you can definitely enjoy as well too.

How Cannabis helps with Peripheral Neuropathy

Nerve damage pain, also called peripheral neuropathy, can be quite potent for some people, with many struggling to handle the condition there. The evidence does build that cannabis may help with this. While many studies are still needing to be done, there are some benefits of cannabis for helping with nerve damage pain as well.

What is It?

This is a condition that causes damages to the nerves of the spinal cord and brain, and it can affect digestion, blood flow, even urination, and it also can spread out to other parts of the body. this is because the peripheral nerves send out different signs to the CNS in order to sense inflammation and pain, especially in the fingertips and whatnot.

This can be caused by a lot of physical damage, various infections, exposure to toxins, and also metabolic issues that cause this. This is something that also does reduce the quality of life in many, and it’s why lots of people are looking to utilize cannabis for this condition.

Symptoms

There are different symptoms that vary for everyone, but it usually falls into issues with your sensory areas, your motor controls, and the autonomic nervous system.

Usually, it involves one of the following::

Escalating and gradual numbness, or tingling

Pains that are sharp, even if you don’t touch the area

Issues with coordination

Weakness of the muscles

Blood pressure drops

Paralysis

There are treatments of this, but it usually involves a lot of expensive medications and treatments.

How Weed helps

There is some question on whether or not weed  can help with this. There is some research which does show that there is a strong chance that it can help with some conditions, but some research is still needed for this.

One study that was conducted by the Journal of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic discovered that there were small studies that showcased that cannabis did have some benefits for peripheral neuropathy, especially reducing pain, helping with sleep, better motor skills, and it also helped those that had symptoms which had refractory when compared to normal therapies.

However, the study did advise for some issues to be looked at, as there are some which result when the dosages are much too high. But there is promise here, especially when you utilize proper dosing as well.

In another study called medical cannabis for neuropathic pain, they utilized controlled randomized trials to study the effects of this, with the study of this suggesting that if you utilize short-term vaporization of cannabis at lower dosages, you can treat neuropathic conditions.

Another study also showed that it can definitely help with chronic pain, especially those who have chronic neuropathic pain.

But as with the other studies that are conducted, the research is limited, but growing as well.

So can it help? Well, it can make pain much more manageable, especially if you’re dealing with brutal amounts of this. With medical marijuana, you can lower the pain, since peripheral neuropathy is actually considered a condition that qualifies you for the utilization of medical cannabis.

For a lot of people who deal with chronic pain, the options for help are definitely still not very open and vast. But the cool thing about this, is that you’ll be able to, with this, be able to treat chronic pain that comes with this, and with medical cannabis, you can make this a lot easier and more manageable for you, to make it better for not just your life, but also for your own personal existence and life as well.

Can Cannabis Improve Sickle Cell Anemia

Sickle cell anemia is caused by a defect in your hemoglobin, which is a protein that allows for your red blood cells to carry forth oxygen.

These red blood cells lose shape and it causes clogging of the blood vessels, creating pain, swelling, and other complications.

Some say cannabis can help but is it a valid strategy.

What is It?

This usually falls under a category of diseases and disorders. While it does have environmental causes, usually it’s because of genetic.

Hemoglobin is the protein that gives the cells the red color. This is vital for the survival of this, and many are tasked with carrying the oxygen in tis to the rest of the body, cycling your carbon dioxide back to the lungs themselves.

This is usually a genetic concern, which causes a defect in your hemoglobin, and it causes them to change into a crescent or a sickle shape, creating complications of the symptoms.

This can cause anemia, pain, a low mood and tiredness, and also problems with swelling too.

In some severe cases, it can actually cause damage to the organs, a stroke, ulcers of the legs, pulmonary hypertension, blindness, and complications if you’re pregnant.

Can Cannabis help?

This can cause a lot of pain and problems in your life, and there are some drugs which can help keep it under control, such as L-glutamine or hydroxyurea in order to minimize pain.

Some may use cannabis to help with these conditions too, making it a possible use for certain conditions, including this.

Cannabis targets your endocannabinoid system, or the ECS. When you ingest it, the cannabis do interface with this, creating the homeostasis with this. The terpenes, flavonoids, and other different compounds synergize in order to produce better outcome.

So how can this help with sickle cell anemia?

Well it can help elevate the hormones in the short term, helping those with sickle cell anemia temporarily improve their mood.

However, long-term use of this does make you feel demotivated, and it can also make you feel more anxious and panic.

There is also the benefits of CBD, which could be better since it offers a clearer, more blissful effect without the psychoactive high that’s there. It also helps bind to your serotonin receptors, improving the mood, and also offering a more meaningful result.

This also can impact the pain receptors as well, and it can help to reduce the pain that’s there. Many people who already have sickle cell anemia do use this to help with pain, the mood, and sleep, and it can help with reducing the need for pain meds.

This of course can help those who have sickle cell anemia, and also pain-related behaviors of this.

Finally, it can help with the immune system. There is a chance that this can help with your immunity, with the ECS playing a role. Right now, future trials are needed to uncover the cannabis parts, and improve the immunity of those patients in a specific manner.

THC or CBD though? For some people, they may benefit from the combination of both. But because of how potent the THC can be in this, you may want something with more CBD focus, and it can benefit your body and offer a reduced discomfort of the body.

There are even some pharmaceuticals that can help with this called Sativex, which is a spray that’s used for MC.

Right now, we’re still exploring the options of this, and there are a lot of benefits which can come from this. But you’ll know for sure over time if this helps.

Can Cannabis Impact Heart Health?

Does cannabis impact the circulatory system?

While many use this for heart conditions, there have been studies that have shown that marijuana, especially long-term use of it, may impact different conditions of the heart, especially blood pressure and heart disease. Here, we’ll go over what’s what, and what it is that you need to know.

How cannabis Affects the Heart

It’s important to understand that there is a link that does tie excessive cannabis use to increased risk for heart conditions.

However, not every study paints that same picture. While it may be a threat to one type of person, to another one, it can help to combat the illnesses there too.

So is smoking weed bad and impactful on the heart? Some studies show that it might lead to increased risk of this condition. Science has found that smoking tobacco is a huge risk of heart disease, but that’s also because cigarettes contain lots of chemicals that can impact the function of the heart.

While tobacco along with cannabis do differ, they do have similar carcinogens that can impact the heart.

According to researchers in Canada that have found to see where the increased risk happens with chemicals, they looked at 35 different subjects to see how using cannabis may impact their heart disease risk down the road.

Using imaging and ultrasound, they found that the arterial stiffness and cardiac function was much greater in those who had cannabis.

Despite this though, there were more trials and observations that were needed, and it also is important to look at the ways they consume cannabis. Fewer are smoking weed, which means that this may be changing the way it looks too, opting for safer methods of consumption.

Blood Pressure and Weed

The research around this found that there may be a chance it can help with blood pressure.
For those who are elderly and have hypertension, there are some positive findings that can help to treat this.

According to a national survey which involved 1000 different participants, it was found that the users of cannabis did have a higher risk of possibly dying of hypertension compared to people who didn’t consume this.

While this suggests that if they smoke it they have the same risks, further studies are necessary for this.
The best thing to understand is that cannabis impacts everyone quite differently. While there are studies which claim that THC does raise this, there are others show that CBD may produce no major changes in the variables, and it also may block the THC blood pressure increase when you take it together with this.

Heart Attacks?

There is a chance that cannabis smoking may increase the risk for heart attack in adults that are younger.

The big thing to understand here is that the effects of marijuana are different for everyone, and the results may not be what everyone gets.

While the heart attacks that manifested were quite small in number, it also found that those who did use cannabis were twice as likely to have one.

This of course increased even more in those who used it a lot. Most users who experienced this were ones who smoked it, but those who used vapes or edibles do have a higher risk of possibly having this.
Another thing to look at too is that it increases even more in those who suffer from CUD, which is cannabis dependance, resulting in impaired function of the psyche or social functions too, so it does depend as well on how frequently this is used too for it also.
